Sonali is a professional Salsa dancer.
She learned dancing from Bivash Academy of Dance, Kolkata.
She along with her dance partner Maraju Sumanth participated in the reality show ‘India’s Got Talent’ Season 4 (2012) and were declared as the winner of that season. They won the cash price of Rs 50 lakhs and Maruti Alto 800 car.
In 2013, she along with Maraju Sumanth took part in the dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ Season 6 and ended up as second runner-up.
