Some Lesser Known Facts About Sonal Sachdev
In 1992, Sonal Sachdev became a business partner of the company named ‘The Dealers’ which was situated in Hyderabad, Telangana. The partnership firm specialised in arbitrage trading.
In 1995, Sonal Sachdev was appointed as the Analyst of the company named ‘HB Group’ in Delhi. He led the research department of the company and later shifted to the proprietary side of the business.
In 2000, he was appointed as the Investment Editor of the Indian magazine named ‘Outlook Money.’ It was a magazine which was based on subjects like personal finance, mutual funds, investments, insurance, and taxation.
In 2004, Sonal Sachdev joined the Indian English business newspaper named ‘The Financial Express’ which is owned by The Indian Express Group. Sonal worked as the Investment Editor of the newspaper.
In 2005, Sonal began working as the Editor of the Indian magazine company named ‘Outlook Business.’
In 2008, he started working as the Executive Editor and the head of Editor Markets of the Indian business and financial news television channel named ‘NDTV Profit’ by NDTV.
In 2010, Sonal Sachdev began working as the Prime Mover at ‘Brand Post.’ Sonal was in charge of content and design solutions for corporate publications, magazines, coffee table books, and e-posts.
In 2012, Sonal Sachdev was appointed as the director of India’s first online health portal named ‘Saral Health.’
In 2017,  he began working as the Executive Editor (Resident Editor – Mumbai) of the business newspaper named ‘The Financial Express.’ Sonal was in charge of managing the editorial team in Mumbai’s office.
Sonal was also the head of the banking, corporate, and market bureaus of ‘The Financial Express’ in Mumbai.
