Smita Bansal always wanted to become an actress, so she moved to Mumbai at a young age. She wanted to prove herself and never wanted just to get married.
For her survival in Mumbai, she started with small roles in TV and a few ad commercials. But she was lucky to get good opportunities as her first serial was a hit.
Although she had made a position for herself in the TV industry, she gained much popularity with her role as Sumitra Bhairon Singh in the long-running show âBalika Vadhuâ.
Smita Bansal was one of the participants in âKhatron Ke Khiladi 4â (2011).
She also participated in a coupleâs dance reality show âNach Baliye Season 5â (2012) with her husband but got eliminated after the second weekâs performance.
