Some Lesser Known Facts About Siddique
After graduation, Siddique worked as an Electrical Engineer at the Kerala State Electricity Board in Thrissur, Kerala.
After working there for a few years, he moved to Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, where he worked for a few more years.

Siddique began his acting career in the late 1980s with small roles.
His big break came in 1990 when he was cast in the Malayalam film In Harihar Nagar alongside actors Mukesh, Jagadeesh, and Asokan.

After working with actors Mukesh and Jagadish, Siddique came into the limelight and earned key roles in some films such as Marupuram (1990), Mookkillarajyathu (1991), Manthrikacheppu (1992), Kavadiyattam (1993), Kinnaripuzhayoram (1994), and Kaattile Thadi Thevarude Ana (1995).
He acted alongside popular actresses like Parvathy, Shobana , Sunitha, Mathu, and Suchithra.
In 1991, his role in the film Godfather was appreciated by Malayalam film fans.
In the 1992 film Ayalathe Adheham, he played the villain.

In the 1993 film Ekalavyan, he played Sarath, a young police officer, supporting the lead actor Suresh Gopi .
Throughout his career, he portrayed various roles including comedy, villain, and character roles.
Reportedly, the mid-1990s were tough for Siddique as some personal issues affected his career. However, he made a comeback in the late 1990s with a supporting role in the film Asuravamsam with actor Manoj K. Jayan.
He appeared in the films Lelam (1997) and Crime File (1999), both with Suresh Gopi . These films helped him return to the mainstream.
In the 2001 film Sathyameva Jayathe, he played the role of a villain alongside Suresh Gopi.

After that, Siddique acted in television serials. In 2001, his role in the television serial Sthree alongside Vinaya Prasad became popular with Malayalam television audiences.
He then hosted a musical program called Sallapam on Doordarshan. He went on to host many other music shows like Sangeetha Samagamam on Amrita TV and Symphony on Kairali TV in the 2000s.
In 2002, Siddique produced the film Nandanam, which was directed by Ranjith Balakrishnan. The film starred actors Prithviraj Sukumaran and Navya Nair , and Siddique had a small role in the film.

He then went on to appear in many films such as Vellinakshatram (2004), Chota Mumbai (2007), Nadiya Kollappetta Rathri (2007), and Alibhai (2007).
He once encouraged film director M. P. Michael to make a sequel to the film In Harihar Nagar. The sequel, 2 Harihar Nagar, was released in 2009, reuniting the original actors Jagadish, Mukesh, and Asokan.
Siddique appeared in the third part of the series of the film In Ghost House Inn in 2010.
In April 2011, Siddique launched Kerala’s first family magazine, Family Facebook.
