Although Shuja grew up watching his grandfather play the Piano, his objective was to be a cricketer in future.
It did not take him long to realise that his fate had music in the store.
After working on the project Zinda, Shuja started a music production house, ‘Speed of Sound,’ in the year 1996.
Shuja rose to fame with his hit single ‘Tera Woh Pyaar.’
He brought leading Pakistani singers together to sing ‘Yeh Hum Naheen,’ a song which stands up against terrorism and tells the world that Pakistani people are also against terrorism. The song, composed by Shuja, attracted the channels, BBC, CNN, FOX News amongst others.
It was unveiled in a research conducted by the students of Media Science at Szabist University that over 8 Million people listen to his work on Radio or Television every week.
From 2007 to 2009, he was the official Music Producer for the Lux Style Awards.
He is responsible for the Original Sound Tracks of a number of Pakistani Television series, namely Tum Mere Hi Rehna (2014), Muqaddas (2015), Sehra Main Safar (2015), Mann Mayal (2016), and Sanam (2016).
