Shruti Bhist was born and raised in a middle-class family in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Shruti Bhist’s mother is a single parent. Shruti lives with her mother and 2 siblings.
Since childhood, Bhist had a keen interest in dancing and acting. She used to participate in school’s cultural events.
In an interview, Shruti said that no one in her family was in the TV and film industry; she was the only one who joined the TV.
Shruti Bhist has been a talkative and extroverted person since her childhood.
Her mother’s friend once asked her to take Shruti to the set of the TV show Vidaai (2007) because they needed a child artist for a short role. Shruti auditioned there and was selected.
The lead actress of that show asked her mother to do a professional photoshoot of Shruti. The actress also gave her some casting director’s numbers and asked her to send her photos to them. After that, she started getting commercial ad offers.
In 2011, Shruti bagged the role of a child artist in the TV serial Ek Nayi Chhoti Si Zindagi (2011). She was 8 years old at that time and was studying in class 5.
In an interview, she said that she carried her laptop to the sets, and whenever she had time between shoots, she attended the e-classes. She didn’t shoot during her exam time.
After her great performances in Ek Nayi Chhoti Si Zindagi (2011) and Chintu Chinki Aur Ek Badi Si Love Story (2012), she got Hitler Didi (2012). This show gave her very good recognition in the TV industry as a child artist.
She also acted in Star Plus’ popular TV show Saath Nibhaana Saathiya (2013).
Shruti once said after her 10th class she dropped the college because it was becoming difficult for her to manage exams and shooting schedules. But later she resumed college and completed her studies.
In 2014, she got a chance to act in two Bollywood films Rajjo (2014), and Bangg (2014).
From 2014 to 2021, she did many TV shows as a child artist. She has also appeared in Salman Khan ‘s film Radhe (2021).
She did a recurring role in the popular web series “The Family Man Season 2 (2021).
In 2024, Shruti got her first main lead role in Mishri against Namish Taneja . Â The show aired on Colors TV.
