Some Lesser Known Facts About Shri Aniruddhacharya Ji Maharaj
Shri Aniruddhacharya Ji Maharaj was born on trayodashi tithi of Krishna Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada.
He was born into a poor family. In one of his kathas, he shared that he used to beg for food in his village. His family used to live in a temple but one day the priest of the temple asked them to leave the temple premises. Later, they got Rs 15000 under the Indira Awas Yojana.

In childhood, he used to accompany his parents to Shri Radha Krishna temple in his village.
While growing up, he used to graze his cows in jungles. There, he used to recite Hanuman Chalisa and Bhagavad Gita.
Gradually, he started developing an interest in religious kathas and other spiritual work.
To know more about spirituality, he took diksha under Giriraj Shastri Ji Maharaj Shri. He also took diksha in Shri Ram Katha at Shri Hanuman Gufa in Ayodhya.

He studied Veda Purana and other religious scriptures at Shri Dham Vrindavan.
He then recited a katha in his village. His village people liked the way he recited katha and soon, he became a popular kathavachak in his village.
Within a few years, his kathas started gaining popularity in various other cities.
His kathas are also aired on various Hindi devotional TV channels like Sadhna TV.

He organises kathas in India and abroad.
In June 2013, he fell from a 20 feet height and had severe injuries. Doctors had told him that he would not be able to walk again. However, after two months, he started walking with the help of support.
In May 2019, he started an ashram for the old aged abandoned people with the name Gauri Gopal Vraddhashram, Parikrama Marg, Vrindavan.

On 30 June 2020, he started Annapurna Kitchen, which provides free food service to people.

He has also started Shri Gau Gauri Gopal Seva Sansthan which is working for the welfare of cows.

In one of his kathas, he shared that his first earning was Rs 3000 in 2007 for his seva in Prayagraj. With the money, he bought a harmonium to learn music.
Aniruddhacharya Ji loves to listen to old Hindi songs and play cricket in his leisure time.
