Some Lesser Known Facts About Shreedhar Dubey
Shreedhar Dubey is an Indian actor, casting director, and writer. On 15 December 2022, a Hindi web series titled âPhysics Wallahâ was released on the OTT platform Amazon Mini TV in which he portrayed the role of Indian educator Alakh Pandey .
In childhood, he used to perform in nautankis organised in his village.
His father wanted him to pursue a career in chartered accountancy. However, he wanted to become an army officer.
In an interview, he shared that he loved studying Hindi and Sanskrit in school and scored least in Maths and Science.
While he was studying in college, he joined NCC and NSS, but within a few days, he lost interest in NCC. He also thought of becoming a journalist but did not pursue the profession due to a lack of interest. He then started performing in nukkad nataks organised by NSS camps. From there he developed an interest in acting and decided to attend a one-month acting workshop at the drama school Bhartendu Natya Academy. During an interview, while talking about it, he said,
I studied in Ramadhin Singh Inter College, KKC, KKV and Lucknow University. I obtained a NCC C-certificate as I wanted to join the army but could not. During a R-Day camp, I was impressed by a talented cadet, Neeraj, and he suggested that I join theatre. So, I reached Bhartendu Natya Academy (2001) for a workshop and that changed my life.â
Shreedhar Dubey has worked as a casting associate in various Hindi films like âNil Battey Sannataâ (2015), âHalf Girlfriend (2017), âRaag Deshâ (2017), âGhoomketuâ (2020), and âRaat Akeli Haiâ (2020).

He has also worked as a casting director in Hindi films such as âGeniusâ (2018; feature film), âBebaakâ (2019; short film), and âTokenâ (2019; short film).
Shreedhar has played supporting roles in many Hindi films like âGangs of Wasseypurâ (2012), âMukkabaazâ (2017), âHalf Girlfriendâ (2017), âSonchiriyaâ (2019), âYaaraâ (2020), âRaat Akeli Haiâ (2020), and âAjeeb Daastaansâ (2021).
