Shivakumar Marihal is an Indian actor who is known for his role as Ankit in the Telugu TV show āMounaraagamā (2018).
He was born in an upper-middle-class family.

His mother was a government school teacher and was often transferred to different places because of which he studied at three different schools. From class 1 to 6, he studied in a Karnataka medium school and when his mother shifted to a city, she got him enrolled in an English medium school. In an interview, he said that because of the change in language, he failed class seven. After failing, he joined spoken English classes, worked hard and scored 85 per cent marks.
His parents and relatives asked him to join the army, but he refused and told them that he wanted to become an actor.
In 2017, Shivakumar started his career as a model.

In 2018, he started his acting career in Kannada Television Industry with the TV Show āManasa Sarovaraā on Udaya TV, where he played the role of Preetham. In an interview, he said that he was selected for the role even before giving an audition. He was 22 years old at that time.
In 2018, he played the role of Ankit in the Telugu TV show āMounaraagam.ā He appeared opposite Priyanka Jain. The duo became really popular for the chemistry they shared on the show.
In 2021, he appeared in the Telugu TV show āIntiki Deepam Illaluā along with Dhanya Deepika, where he played the lead role of Manohar.
