She was born and brought up in a non-filmy background.
In her early childhood, Shefali used to live at RBI quarters in Santa Cruz, Mumbai.
She started her career as a TV actress.
Shefali has worked in the number of Hindi TV Serials like âRamayanâ (2008), âHasrateinâ, âNaya Nukkadâ, etc.
Before making her debut with âSatyaâ (1998), she acted in the film âRangeelaâ in which she has only a few scenes.
Shefali has appeared in many Hindi films like âMohabbateinâ, âCommando 2â, âKarthik Calling Karthikâ, etc.
She rose to fame after starring in the film âSatyaâ (1998) as Manoj Bajpayee âs wife.
At the age of just 21, Shefali started playing motherâs roles.
