Some Lesser Known Facts About Sheetal Agashe
Before moving to business, Sheetal Agashe had started her career in television and film.
She is the great-niece of Balkrishan Mahadev Gogte who was a famous Indian lawyer, industrialist, philanthropist and educationist.
In an interview, she said it was her father who encouraged her to join the business.

In 1999, Sheetal was appointed as a Director at a firm financed by her father.
Later in 2000, Sheetal Agashe joined a company as Chief Executive Officer that was founded by her elder brother Mandar Agashe.
On the 60th birth anniversary of her father, she also wrote an essay āFatherās Daughterā for him in his Festschrift.
