He was also fascinated by modelling, and at the age of 20, he won the title of âFace of the Year-Kolkata.â
His life took a turn for the better when he won the title of âZee Cinestar Ki Khojâ from Kolkata division in 2004.
After doing his first TV serial, he took a 4 months break to learn acting skills from New York Film Academy in Los Angeles.
He rose to fame with his role of âSagar Pratap Singhâ in Zee TVâs show âBanoo Main Teri Dulhann,â where he played the role of a mentally challenged person.
His relationship with co-star Divyanka Tripathi lasted for 9 years, which came to an end because of marriage commitments.
