Some Lesser Known Facts About Sergio Gor
Sergio Gor was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
In 1994, his family moved to Malta when his mother established a business there and registered as an Israeli national. He was raised in Cospicua, Malta, and attended De La Salle College, a Catholic boysā school, Cospicua.
Later, in 1999, his family emigrated from Cospicua to Los Angeles. Sergio Gor attended high school in Los Angeles
For his graduation, he moved to Washington, DC, to study at George Washington University.
In an interview, Sergio mentioned that he initially enrolled in university using his full surname, Gorokhovsky, but later shortened it to Gor.
At George Washington, Sergio Gor participated in College Republicans and founded the universityās Young America Foundation chapter.
In 2008, Gor supported Senator John McCainās presidential campaign by advocating for him through a group for Catholics.
Sergio Gor, who worked for the Republican National Committee, wore a squirrel costume to public events to draw attention to Senator Barack Obama ās support for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN).
In June 2010, he served as the spokesman for Iowa Representative Steve King, and in August 2010, he took on the role of spokesman for Minnesota Representative Michele Bachmann. For five months, he managed the responsibilities for both King and Bachmann. However, in February 2011, he resigned from Michele Bachmannās campaign.
In June 2012, he served as Virginia representative Randy Forbesās communications director. In that year, he was also a booker for Neil Cavuto, a Fox News host.
In May 2013, he began working as communications director for Rand Paul ās political action committee. He later became Paulās spokesman in 2014 and deputy chief of staff in 2018.
In June 2020, Sergio Gor left Rand Paulās office to serve as the chief of staff of the Trump Victory Finance Committee.
In July 2020, he started working as a consultant for Donald Trump Jr. , managing the publication of his book, Liberal Privilege (2020).

In October 2021, Donald Trump Jr. and his partner, Gor, founded Winning Team Publishing, a conservative publishing house. In November 2021, they announced the release of a coffee table book, Our Journey Together(2021). The company later published other books, such as Letters to Trump (2023) and Save America (2024).
In September 2022, MAGA Inc. hired Sergio Gor as a senior advisor.
In February 2024, Gor had been named to lead a political action committee, Right for America, for Donald Trump.
In November 2024, PresidentĀ Donald Trump named Sergio Gor as the director of the White House Presidential Personnel Office.

In February 2025, Gor was appointed to the board of trustees of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts after Donald Trump removed its previous members.
In March 2025, Sergio Gor found himself in conflict with Elon Musk during a cabinet meeting regarding Muskās proposed nominees. Following the meeting, Musk announced that he would no longer work with Gor and referred to him as āSnakeā on his X account.
On August 22, 2025, Donald Trump named Gor as his nominee forĀ United States ambassador to India and also as his special envoy for South and Central Asian affairs.
Gor has also worked as a fundraiser for various NGOs and as an amateur wedding DJ.
