Though she was born in Kabul, the civil war in her nation led her family move out to Pakistan first and then to Germany.
Her parents tied her to a much older man, who was already married to someone else, when Seeta was just 15.
She started her singing career by performing at some small functions and parties with singers like Jawid Sharif.
While performing at one of the parties, Seeta met ‘Valy Hedjasi,’ an Afghan pop musician, who was at that time a cameraman. Valy recommended her to collaborate with him on the projects like ‘Bia Tu’ and ‘Delbare Mehrabanam’.
Her commercial success came with ‘Dukhtare Kuchi,’ a romantic track.
