In 1996, Seema joined the Asmita theatre group in Delhi and did several plays like âRakt Kalyanâ (Taledanda), âFinal Solutionsâ, âEk Mamooli Aadmiâ, âCourt Martialâ, and âAccidental Death of an Anarchist.â
After that, she started working in National School of Drama (NSD) repertory company as an actress for about two years.
She has worked with a number of popular personalities like John Russell Brown, Peter James, Mohan Maharishi, Bhanu Bharti, Rajendra Nath, Ranjit Kapoor, Mahesh Dattani, Lillete Dubey, etc.
In 2005, she got the role of Bahu-Rani in the Indo-Canadian film âWater.â
She also acted in the short film âSound of Silence: The Collision of Storms Withinâ (2014).
She worked in different languages like Hindi, English, and Marathi.
Apart from acting, she directed numerous plays like âGadhe ki Baratâ, âDear Diaryâ, âThe Silent Frontâ, etc.
In 2013, she performed in the Mahesh Dattaniâs popular play âSARAâ, a solo performance.
