| Controversies | ā¢ Faking a fire evacuation in 2018 Due to California's biggest wildfires in 2018, which sadly claimed the lives of more than 58 people, Sav and Cole were trolled for staging a fire evacuation. They used a thumbnail when they uploaded a YouTube video with the title WE LEFT OUR HOUSE DUE TO FIRE IN CALIFORNIA, which implied that they had been given the orders to leave their home. This led to accusations of cruelty for downplaying the situation. There was no evacuation of the region, as people in the comment section said. Savannah LaBrant is an American content creator, social media influencer, and photographer, who is popularly known for her family vlogs on YouTube and Instagram.
She first developed an interest in dance when she was two years old. Savannah got her start in modelling in her early years. According to her, being in front of the camera has always come naturally to her because she grew up in this field.

Savannah spoke about how she informed her family of her pregnancy in one of her YouTube vlogs. Chantelle, her sister, was the first person she told about it. Savannah had put on a few pounds, and her mother started noticing that. Savannah was eating cookies when her mother advised her to cut back on the amount of sugar she was consuming but right after her mother said this, Savannah started crying and yelled,
Do you know why Iām gaining so much weight? Itās because Iām pregnant.ā
In 2018, Savannah and Cole penned a book titled Cole and Sav: Our Surprising Love Story in which they talked about their love story and the lessons they have learned as a family.

Savannah opened up about her relationship with her daughter Everleighās father, Tommy Smith, and said that he had cheated on her many times with multiple women, even when she was pregnant. She further added,
Around my sixth month of pregnancy, I learned Tommy, who had been eager to get married when he found out I was pregnant, was now cheating on me. I dumped him, but we got back together when Everleigh was born. He promised me heād changed, and I let myself believe him. He hadnāt changed. Within a matter of weeks after Everleigh was born, Tommy left me. Again. It wasnāt the last time. Tommy came back around whenever something big with Everleigh happened, like Christmas or a birthday. A lot of times I asked him to come back because I felt like our daughter needed her dad to be there. He came. Heād swear everything was going to be different this time. āJust give me another chance,ā heād say, and I always caved. I could not live with that, so Tommy and I would split up, again.ā
In an interview, Savannah said that Tommy wanted to marry her when he got to know about their child. She further added,
Tommy, however, seemed oddly excited about it. He even talked about us getting married. My parents never would have gone for that because they were not overly fond of Tommy. Telling my parents I was pregnant with his child was one of the hardest things Iāve ever had to do. My parents were really supportive of me, however, and they loved the idea of becoming grandparents.ā

Cole shared on Instagram in June 2022 that their baby, Zealand, had a seizure only hours before Savannah was due to give birth. Cole gave Zealand CPR until the paramedics arrived when he briefly stopped breathing and became motionless.
Savannah and her family moved to Tennessee from California in February 2023. Before leaving California, they paid a visit to the wedding venue where they were wed and even spent the night in the same hotel as they had on their wedding night.
