Saurav Gurjar is an Indian professional wrestler and actor. He is known for competing in “WWE NXT.”
Saurav studied boxing when he was in college. After graduating, he decided to pursue a career in sports, and he started preparing for kickboxing.
Saurav Gurjar during his younger days
In 2007, he won Gold in the State Kickboxing Championship in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He was also the winner of the National Kickboxing Championship in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
In 2008, he was the “Gold Winner” in- Kickboxing State championship in Indore, Second West-Zone Kickboxing Championship in Indore, Kickboxing National Championship in Kolkata, and Indian Open Kickboxing Championship in Bhubaneswar.
In 2009, he won the State Kickboxing Championship in Bhopal and the Indian Open Kickboxing Championship in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
In 2011, he participated in “Total Nonstop Action” Wrestling’s India Project titled, “Ring Ka King.” He performed under the ring name “Deadly Danda.” He competed with renowned wrestlers such as Abyss, Scott Steiner, Nick Aldis, and Sonjay Dutt.
In 2013, he started getting offers to act in Indian television shows. He got the role of Bheem in “Mahabharat.” Once, he said that he was offered the role because of his muscular build and unusual height.

On 14 January 2018, he got the opportunity to sign a contract with WWE. He was included in WWE’s NXT, and he teamed up with Rinku Singh .

On 14 April 2019, he made his first televised WWE appearance in “WWE Worlds Collide.”
He is said to be in Ayan Mukerji’s upcoming movie with Amitabh Bachchan , Ranbir Kapoor , and Alia Bhatt titled “Brahmastra.”
