Some Lesser Known Facts About Saraswati Vaidya
Saraswati Vaidya (1991-2023) was a resident of Mumbai who was allegedly killed and chopped into pieces by her live-in partner, Manoj Sane .
After failing her 10th standard examinations, she dropped out of her school and subsequently, she relocated to Mumbai with the intention of finding employment.
In 2008, she met Manoj Sane for the first time at a ration shop situated in the Babhai Naka area of Borivali. In 2015, they began residing together in the G Wing of the Geeta Akash Deep building located in Geeta Nagar Phase 7, Mira Bhayandar Road, Mumbai and lived there for five years until 2020.

Subsequently, they relocated to flat number 704 of the J Wing within the same building. Neighbours perceived them as a married couple; however, no evidence confirming their marital status was discovered.
It is alleged that Saraswati Vaidya was murdered by her live-in partner, Manoj Sane, on 4 June 2023 at their flat. Similar to the Shraddha Walker case, Manoj reportedly dismembered her body into multiple pieces and attempted to dispose of them before the police received a complaint; however, the police eventually discovered her decomposed remains on 7 June 2023.

The dismemberment is said to have been carried out using a tile cutter machine and an electric chainsaw, after which the body parts were allegedly cooked in a pressure cooker. The police expressed suspicions that the case could be a result of domestic violence that escalated into murder.

Manoj claimed during the investigation that she had already taken her own life on 3 June 2023 by ingesting poison. The body parts were subsequently sent to J J Hospital in Mumbai for forensic analysis.
At the time of her demise, Saraswati Vaidya was studying mathematics and was planning to appear in the 10th standard examinations.
According to Manoj’s allegations, Saraswati possessed a highly possessive nature and would frequently accuse him of being unfaithful whenever he returned home late from work. He further claimed that their relationship never involved any physical intimacy and that he regarded her as a daughter figure.
