She is best known for Malayalam films Thanaha (2018), Mamangam (2019), and Aakasha Ganga 2 (2019). She has also gained the limelight for playing the negative role in the Malayalam television show Kudumbavilakku (2020) where she played the role of Vedika.

In an interview, Saranya told that her marriage with her husband Manesh Rajan Nair was an arranged one. It was through mutual family friends. The couple tied the knot on 4 November 2020 in the presence of their close ones at Guruvayoor Temple in Kerala.
