Sarah Wagner grew up in Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
After completing her formal education, Sarah began working as a nurse at a hospital, where she met Sebastian Barfels.
The duo soon fell in love with each other and began dating on 28 August 2018.

Sarah, along with her boyfriend Sebastian, initially began making comedy and travel videos as a hobby.
In 2020, they created a TikTok channel Laberrhababer, on which they began posting their videos on everyday life with a touch of comedy.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, their videos gained such a large reach that they decided to give up nursing and pursue content creation as a career.
They then created their YouTube channel and Instagram account, where they began posting their videos.
 In 2021, Sarah Wagner and her boyfriend Sebastian Barfels, decided to leave Germany and emigrate to Mallorca. They were accompanied by the crew of the TV show Goodbye Germany.
In Mallorca, they continued working as social media influencers for around a year and later left the holiday island to start up their business in Düsseldorf.
