Some Lesser Known Facts About Sara Khan
She was born into a family that follows Hinduism.
Her mother is of Sindhi ethnicity.
She grew up in a joint family with her grandmother and great-grandmother. She had a close relationship with her great-grandmother.
She started learning Bharatanatyam dance during her childhood and has a 9-year diploma in the art form.

She completed her college education in London, England.
She began working as a life coach and holding seminars while studying in school. She continued to hold seminars while studying in college and has trained people in several life skills including stress management.
She met her future husband, Arfeen Khan , in Mumbai while looking for a job in his brother’s company. Arfeen later interviewed her for the job.
Soon after her marriage, her father committed suicide as he was betrayed in his business which resulted in depression.
Eventually, she became pregnant with twins but due to complications in her pregnancy, she had to undergo an operation which resulted in a miscarriage.
According to Sara, she was motivated by the incident to not become pessimistic and decided to become an actor and pursue her childhood dreams.
On 3 November 2017, she gave a TED Talk titled ‘Life in a vanity van.’

On 8 July 2019, she became a mother of twins and credited Hypnobirthing (the use of hypnotism for preparing to give birth) and her Yoga instructor, Jen Phenix, with helping her stay relaxed and calm during the delivery of her children.

She has appeared in several TV shows and films such as ‘Dhoondh Legi Manzil Humein’ (2010-2011), ‘Payback’ (2010), ‘Total Siyappa’ (2014), ‘Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls’ (2015), ‘Kahi Suni’ (2015), and ‘Love Ka Hai Intezaar’ (2017).

In 2020, her book ‘I AM Worth It!: The 3-Step Formula to be a Powerful Woman’ was launched by actor, Tiger Shroff .

On 24 December 2021, she held an art and charity event in Mumbai, displaying her paintings. The event was attended by several celebrities including Soni Razdan , Karanvir Bohra , and Delnaaz Irani .

She has worked with her mother’s NGO, ‘Grow Younger’ to create masks to generate money for the people living in old age homes.
She does not indulge in smoking.
In October 2024, she became a contestant on the Hindi TV show, ‘Bigg Boss 18’ along with her husband, Arfeen Khan.
