| Controversies | ⢠Santhanam made fun of Mukesh Harane, known by the name of 'Gutka Mukesh', in the film 'All in All Azhagu Raja' (2013). Mukesh was a 24-year-old tobacco user who died of oral cancer. The scene did not go down well with people and had to be removed from the film. ⢠In May 2025, G. Bhanuprakash Reddy, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) trust board member and BJP state spokesperson, lodged a complaint against him and demanded Rs. 100 crore as compensation for hurting the sentiments of the Hindus. As per the complaint, Santhanam referred to Lord Venkateswara in a derogatory manner in the song Kissa 47 in his film DD Next Level. |
