Sanjay Pandey is an Indian actor who is known for playing negative roles in Bhojpuri films.
He grew up in a middle-class family in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh.

Since childhood, he was interested in acting. While studying in 9th standard, he started a theatre called “Sampreshan” in Katani, Madhya Pradesh in 1987. After 9th standard, he decided to make a career in acting.
In 1994, after receiving an MA degree in Sanskrit, he learned acting for two years at Rang Vidushak Drama Theatre in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
Later, he moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting, where he started doing odd jobs.
He made his acting debut with the 2002 Bhojpuri film ‘Kahiya Doli Leke Aiba’ in which he played the negative role of ‘Gajendra.’
In 2019, he made his television debut with the TV serial “Vidya” in which he played the role of ‘Dharam Singh.’
The Bhojpuri film Dildar Sawariya turned out to be a breakthrough film of his career after which he started getting numerous acting offers in Bhojpuri films.
Some of his successful Bhojpuri films are “Nirahua Hindustani” (2015), “Muqabala” (2015), “Nirahua Hindustani 2” (2017), “Hum Hai Hindustani” (2017), “Jila Champaran” (2017), “Dabang Sarkar” (2018), “Nirahua Hindustani 3” (2018), “Coolie No. 1” (2019), “Vinashak” (2019), and “Prajatantra” (2020).
In 2020, he appeared in the TV show “Gupta Brothers” on Star Bharat in which played the role of Radhe Shyam Rasia.
In 2020, he appeared in the Bhojpuri film “Dostana” alongside Kajal Raghwani and Pradeep Pandey.
He is an ardent follower of Lord Ganesha and often pays a visit to various temples.
