Controversy A legal case against Sanjay Gadhvi: In June 2010, a case under section 420 of the Indian Penal Code was filed against Sanjay Gadhvi at the Delhi High Court. Reportedly, the Indian film company 'Studio 18' registered a complaint, accusing Gadhvi of not delivering the script on time. The company claims that in January 2008, they had a contract for two films with the filmmaker and also made an advance payment of Rs 4 crores to him. In October 2008, they planned to start their first film, '7 Days in Paris,' but Gadhvi was not ready with the script. The company asserted that they incurred a loss of Rs 5.2 crores because of the delay caused by Gadhvi. check sources

He was immediately taken to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
