Sanjana is the daughter of popular late actor Shashi Kapoor.
She started her acting career in 1981 by playing the role of young Violet in the Bengali film â36 Chowringhee Lane.â
She later quitted acting and started managing the âPrithvi Theatreâ in Juhu, Mumbai.
She also runs theatre workshops for children.
Apart from that, she hosted the TV show âAmul India Showâ for three and a half years.
