| Controversy | Bigg Boss 17 Participation: On 17 October 2023, a complaint was filed against Sana Raees Khan over her participation in the reality show 'Bigg Boss 17' by Ashutosh J. Dubey, an advocate at the Bombay High Court. Dubey, who believed Sana's participation in the show a serious matter of professional misconduct, lodged the complaint with the Bar Council of India. He later shared the complaint letter on X and wrote, I have formally notified the Bar Council of India that Advocate Sana Raees Khan has participated as a contestant in the reality show âBigg Boss 17â which is violation of Bar Council Rules."  Defamation Case by a Social Media Influencer: Sana found herself clouded in a controversy when a Rs. 10 crore defamation case was filed against her in October 2023. The case was filed by a social media influencer named Faizan Ansari, who claimed that Sana used Aryan Khan 's name in the 2021 Mumbai Cruise Drug Case, even though she was not representing him in the case. In his complaint, Ansari mentioned that Sana did so for her personal gain. He, moreover, labelled Sana, who had represented Avin Sahu in the case, as a fraudster. Aryan Khan , the son of Shah Rukh Khan , along with six others were arrested from a cruise off the coast of Mumbai in 2021. According to a report from a renowned Indian newspaper, Sana Raees Khan represented Avin Sahu, who was one of the co-accused in the case. Avin Sahu was one of the first to receive bail in the case. During the court proceedings, Sana Raees Khan argued that neither Avin nor Aryan had any drugs on their person when taken into custody by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). This argument proved to be crucial in helping her client get bail and was later used by Aryanâs defence as well.
