Sampurnaa Mandal is an Indian actress, who has worked in many popular Bengali TV serials including Zee Bangla’s TV series ‘Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni’ (2017) and Aakash Aath’s TV serial ‘Hoyto Tomari Janyo’ (2021).
She grew up in a middle-class family in Jhargram, West Bengal. She made her acting debut at the age of 9.

In 2016, she played the role of Ratri’s daughter in Zee Bangla’s comedy-drama TV series ‘Bhutu.’
She became popular after working in Zee Bangla’s historical drama TV series ‘Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni’ released in 2017. In the series, she played the role of Jagadamba Biswas which turned out to be a breakthrough role for her.

In 2017, she appeared as Ishani Mukherjee in Star Jalsha’s anthology crime drama series ‘Jai Kali Kalkattawali.’
In 2019, she worked in Star Jalsha’s popular TV series ‘Durga Durgeshwari,’ in which she played the lead role of Durga Roy Chowdhury. The show was a reboot version of Star Jalsha’s popular soap opera ‘Durga,’ which was released in 2008.
In 2021, she worked in Aakash Aath’s TV serial ‘Hoyto Tomari Janyo’ in which she played the lead role of Jahnavi opposite Bengali actor Jeetu Kamal.
In 2022, she was featured in the music video of the Bengali song ‘Bhalobeshe Gawa Gaan’ by Rishav Chakraborty.

In an interview, on being asked about her acting journey, she shared that acting became her dream when she was a child. She said,
Since a very young age, I used to watch TV shows and ask my mom whether I can be an actress, too. I used to enact scenes standing in front of the mirror. I told my mom about my dream and my parents decided to take me to Midnapore to attend dance and acting classes. My parents took me to the audition and I bagged a role in Maa Durga. That was in 2014. Later, I bagged another role in Goyenda Ginni. Back then, I used to travel from Jhargram. If I had a call time around 8 am in the morning, we had to take the train at 3.30 am. My parents gradually realised it is getting hectic for me. Dad decided to shift me and mom to Kolkata while he and my brother stayed back.” check sources The Times of India
