Saloni Gaur is an Indian standup comedian, actress, and impressionist who is known for portraying several characters inspired by her real life. She has also appeared in many comedy TV shows.
She started participating in cultural programs during her school years and later became a standup comedian. She started her Snapchat and Instagram journey in 2017 by playing the character Pinky Dogra and later played two more characters named Kumkum and Asha Behenji. She started her YouTube journey in 2019 and became popular for her Nazma Aapi character through which she made satirical videos on many social issues such as CAA, NEET, and Arnab Goswami vs Sonia Gandhi .
She also made many videos by dressing up as Bollywood celebrities such as Kangana Ranaut , Amitabh Bachchan , and Sonam Kapoor . In a 2021 interview, she revealed that she has played 11 fictitious characters in her videos. In her debut web series ‘Uncommon Sense With Saloni’ which streamed on SonyLIV, she made jokes with her Nazma Aapi character in the monologues and addressed many issues such as women’s safety, unemployment, and fake news. In 2022, she acted in two more web series, as Priyanka in Campus Diaries, which streamed on MX Player, and in Bhai Behen vs the World, which streamed on Amazon Mini TV.
