Sadia Khateeb is an Indian actress and model. She predominantly works in the Hindi film industry. In 2020, she appeared in the film Shikara, which was directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra .
Sadia Khateeb made her acting debut with the drama film Shikara in 2020. In the film, she played the role of a medical student who got married to a professor, and they portrayed a Kashmiri Pandit couple in the film. The exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Kashmir Valley during the 1990s was picturised in the film along with their love story. The movie failed at the box office, but her performance in the film was praised by the film critics.
Reportedly, in 2017, Sadia Khateeb was chosen for the lead role in the film Shikara when she was twenty years old. She received a phone call from a director from Mumbai named Indu Sharma in 2017, and a couple of weeks later, it was announced by Indian director Vidhu Vinod Chopra that Sadia would play the role of âShantiâ in the film Shikara opposite Aadil Khan.
Sadia Khateeb earned the tenth position in her 12th class after board exam results were declared in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Sadia Khateeb, she was earlier approached by someone from the Bollywood film industry in Mumbai to cast her in Imtiaz Ali âs film âLaila Majnu,â but she turned down the offer as she did not believe the same.

I have to be choosy. If today, a film script comes to me, I have to think 10 times because I canât do just anything. I was told by close friends that âyou will be remembered from your last film, so whatever you are going to choose, be wiseâ, because nobody will remember I did well in âShikaraâ. Whatever you choose, it has to be better than or at par with your last film.â
Sadia Khateeb appeared in the film Raksha Bandhan in June 2022. Raksha Bandhan was a comedy-drama film in which Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar appeared in the lead roles. The film was based on the love and the relationship between brothers and sisters. In the film, actors Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Sadia Khateeb, and Smrithi Srikanth played the roles of Akshay Kumarâs sisters.
