 Some Lesser Known Facts About Sachin Shroff
Sachin Shroff is an Indian actor, entrepreneur, and dancer. He mainly appears in Hindi TV serials. In 2022, he replaced the Indian actor Shailesh Lodha as Taarak Mehta in the popular Hindi sitcom âTaarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmahâ (2008).
In an interview, he shared that at a very young age, he joined his family business and acting happened to him by chance. He said,
I remember that day; I was at Mahalakshmi in Mumbai and a friend of mine had an audition at Famous Studios and asked me to accompany him. I went along and being in formals, was asked to audition as they felt I fit the bill. That audition got me my first commercial for Moser Baer. Gradually, I got a call from Balaji Telefilms and did two shows for them and from then on, there was no looking back.â
He started his career as a TV actor and appeared in various Hindi TV serials like âSaat Phere: Saloni Ka Safarâ (2007; Zee TV), âBanoo Main Teri Dulhannâ (2009; Zee TV), âBalika Vadhuâ (2011; Colors), and âTumhari Paakhiâ (2013; Life OK).

In 2009, Sachin, along with his first wife Juhi Chawla , participated in the Hindi reality TV show âPati Patni Aur Woh,â which aired on NDTV Imagine.

In 2022, he acted in the Star Plus Hindi TV serial âGhum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiinâ in which he played the role of Rajeev. However, in the mid-way, he left the show. In an interview, while talking about quitting the TV serial, he said,
It was a good character, and I enjoyed playing it while my track was on. It was a happy-go-lucky character. The makers gave it importance when I entered the show. My track was really good initially, but gradually it did not shape up the way we thought it would. So I felt it was best to move on.â
