Some Lesser Known Facts About Sabih Khan
When he was in fifth grade, his family moved to Singapore from Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. Later, he relocated to the United States.
After completing his formal education, Sabih Khan worked at General Electric (GE) Plastics. His roles there included applications development engineer and key account technical leader.
Sabih Khan joined Appleās procurement group in 1995.
He has held various roles at the company and helped bring many of Appleās new products to market.
On 27 June 2019, he was appointed as Senior Vice President of Operations at Apple, where hisĀ team worked on building partnerships with eco-friendly (green) manufacturing suppliers.
His department also handled changes in supplier operations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sabih Khan manages Appleās global supply chain.
He is also in charge of Appleās programs that ensure suppliers follow rules and act responsibly.
On 8 July 2025, Apple chose Sabih Khan as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). He tookĀ over the role from Jeff Williams.
In its statement, the company said that Sabih Khanās appointment as COO had been planned for a long time.
After this, Appleās CEO, Tim Cook, called Sabih Khan a ābrilliant strategistā in the media. Cook said,
