Some Lesser Known Facts About Rowllin Borges
While growing up, Rowllin’s interest in football developed due to his father, who used to take him to watch football matches at the Fatorda stadium.
Rowllin started playing football at 13 and played his first professional football match for his school team.
While growing up, Rowllin’s childhood hero was Climax Lawrence, a former Indian footballer from Goa. Rowllin wanted to become a player like him in the childhood.
Rowlin remained unsold in the auctions for the Indian Super League in 2015, which were also the first auctions after the league started in 2014.
Rowllin made his debut for the Indian national football team on 31 August 2015 against Nepal, which ended in a 0-0 draw. He came as a substitute for Eugeneson Lyngdoh.

Rowllin’s debut goal for the national team came against Nepal on 27 December 2015 in a group-stage match of the 2015 SAFF Championship, which India won 4–1.
Rowllin made his Indian Super League debut on 1 October 2016 for the club NorthEast United FC against Kerala Blasters FC. The score ended 1-0 in favour of NorthEast United FC.

Rowllin’s former coach at NorthEast United FC, Eelco Schattorie, once compared him with the Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne and said,
