Rosie Jeanne Burke Roche was born as the granddaughter of Edmund Roche, 5th Baron Fermoy, who was Princess Diana’s grandfather, through the aristocratic Spencer-Roche family line.
Her mother, Pippa Roche, is a niece of Princess Diana , making Rosie a distant cousin of Prince William and Prince Harry.
She grew up in Malmesbury, Wiltshire, and studied at St Mary’s Calne, an independent girls’ school in the UK. After school, she took a gap year trip to Zimbabwe with an organisation named Africagap.

Rosie was found deceased by her mother, Pippa, and her sister, Agatha, at the family home. A licensed firearm was found near her body inside the house.
Police confirmed the firearm was legally registered to a family member, and there were no signs of forced entry.
Police declared the death non-suspicious and confirmed no involvement of any third party. No suicide note or letter was found at the scene during the initial investigation.
A toxicology report has been ordered, and the results are expected before the inquest continues in late October 2025. On 21 July 2025, coroner Grant Davies confirmed her cause of death as a traumatic head injury.

Kingston was married to Lady Gabriella Windsor, who is the second cousin of King Charles III. Kingston and Lady Gabriella got married in 2019 in a royal ceremony.

On 25 February 2024, Kingston was found dead at his parents’ home in the Cotswolds, England. He was 45 years old and was discovered inside the bathroom of an outbuilding on the property.
An inquest confirmed he died by suicide using his father’s legally owned shotgun. Kingston had been recently prescribed selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), a common type of antidepressant.
The police confirmed there was no third-party involvement and ruled out any suspicious circumstances. Princess Michael of Kent, Lady Gabriella’s mother, described him as kind and thoughtful in her public tribute.
