Roopa Koduvayur is an Indian actress and doctor. She is known for her work in Telugu and Tamil film industries.
She had a deep passion for classical dance since she was a child. She started learning Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi at a very young age. In an interview, the actress revealed that she practised dance for approximately three hours every day since she was six years old.
When she was seven years old, she won first prize in a dance competition and received an award from the well-known musician and actor Mangalampalli Balamuralikrishna.

In 2016, she performed at a cultural event named ‘Shiva Parvathi Kalyanam.’ The program was part of the Karthika Deepotsavam celebration and was aired on the channel TV5.

In 2017, she appeared as a contestant in the dance reality show ‘Dance India Dance Season 6,’ which aired on Zee TV. She was shortlisted for the level 3 of the show.

She rose to fame after her dance cover video, which she uploaded on her YouTube channel in 2017, went viral on the internet. In the video, she was seen performing classical dance to the song ‘Saahore Baahubali’ from the Telugu movie ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ and received huge appreciation from netizens.
After making her acting debut with the Telugu short film ‘No,’ she appeared in the Telugu short film ‘Fauji’ in 2018.

In 2023, she played the role of Mahi in the Telugu film ‘Mr. Pregnant,’ starring Syed Sohel Ryan .

In an interview, she disclosed that when she was preparing for the EAMCET, her mother was diagnosed with cancer. After this, she decided to pursue a career as Oncologist. She said,
My mother was diagnosed with cancer when I was preparing for EAMCET exams. That shook me. She is a cancer survivor and my staunch supporter; my hero. I want to become an oncologist and treat as many people as I can.”
