She rose to fame post her performance in the short film Anukokunda, which was screened at Cannes Film Festival. This short film also won the best film award at the â48HR Filmâ Project competition in 2012 and also Ritu won the best actor female award for the film.
She got her breakthrough in Tollywood with the film Prema Ishq Kaadhal (2013).
