Some Lesser Known Facts About Remo DâSouza
After completing his schooling in Gujarat, he moved to Mumbai in search of dancing scope and opened a dance class called Super Brats at Churni Road, with 4 students initially.
In his struggling days, he used to live at Bandra station, Mumbai.
He never took any professional dance training but idolized Micheal Jackson.
In 1995, he got his first entry in Bollywood as an assistant to choreographer Ahmed Khan with the film âRangeela.â
In his early days in Bollywood, he also used to work as a background dancer.Â
His first pop video was for Sonu Nigam âs album Deewana, which was a big hit. But, his turning point was when he choreographed an item number called âIshq Samundarâ in the âKaanteâ (2002).
On 11 December 2020, he was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai after he suffered a heart attack.
In January 2025, he received a death threat through an email. However, his wife later claimed that the email was spam mail and was not a death threat. The case was handed over to the Mumbai Policeâs Cyber Cell.
In the same month, Remo and his wife went to the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, where he was seen roaming with his face covered with a black stole. He also took a dip in the Ganges.
