He got his first job at Citibank in Mumbai right after graduating at the age of 20.
He joined Ernst & Young as a manager (assurance and advisory) in New York in 2002. He worked there for five years, i.e., till 2007.
He worked as a director of transaction services (M&A Advisor) at KPMG LLP in New York from 2007 to 2011.
He joined Wells Fargo, a multinational financial services company, as an investment banker in 2011 and worked there till 2013.
Rakshit launched his first e-learning platform, TechStars, in New York with his ex-colleague in 2013.
In April 2015, he co-founded a beverage company, SLAY Coffee (DropKaffe), in Bengaluru. He continued working there till December 2019.
