Some Lesser Known Facts About Rakesh Kumar
Rakesh Kumar was an Indian writer, producer, and director. He is best known for directing the films  âKhoon Pasina,â âMr Natwarlal,â âYaarana,â and âDo Aur Do Paanch.â He passed away on 10 November 2022 after a long battle suffering from cancer.
In 1973, Rakesh Kumar began working as an assistant director with Prakash Mehra for the film named âZanjeer.â In 1977, he made his directorial debut with the film âKhoon Pasina.â Later, he produced many hit films including âDil Tujhko Diya,â âCommander,â âKaun Jeeta Kaun Haara,â and âSuryavanshiâ in which Rakesh Kumar worked with the Indian actor Salman Khan .

Soon after his death, Amitabh Bachchan shared a heartfelt note on one of his social media accounts. He wrote,
Morose is the day .. For another colleague who has left us and me in a particular.. Rakesh Sharma, first AD to Prakash Mehra on âZANJEERâ .. then the independent director for other PM (prakash mehra, as we often joked with him, as the PM of the country ) films .. and singularly â âHera Pheriâ, âKhoon Pasinaâ, âMr Natwarlalâ, âYaaranaâ, et al .. And such great camaraderie on sets, socially, during events and Holi.â
