Rajarshi Nandy is an “Upasaka” or “Sadhaka,” someone who is engaged in spiritual practice or discipline.
He has done Upasana (worship) of various deities including Kala Bhairava, Kamakhya Devi, Lord Krishna, Maa Tara, and Maa Durga.
He guides people interested in the practice of Sadhana.
He is also a Tantra expert, a religious practice known for bringing together spirituality and sexuality. In Sanskrit, the word Tantra means woven together. However, Rajarshi explains Tantra as a special way of worshipping the God made for the Kali Yuga.
A public speaker, Rajarshi is popular for talking on topics related to Sanatana Dharma, Tantra, and Hindu mythology.

In an episode of The Ranveer Show, he shared how Lord Krishna was introduced in his life. During the Upasana of Maa Durga, he dreamed of visiting a Maa Tara temple in Vindhyachal, Mirzapur. There, he came across a sadhu, who asked Rajarshi to do a homa (a fire ritual). Following the ritual, he received a Mantra in his dream from one of the intense forms of Mahavidyas (Hindu Tantric goddesses). One day, when he was chanting the Mantra, he saw a bright light figure in front of him who instructed him to read books of Sri Aurobindo. These books introduced Lord Krishna in Rajarshi Nandy’s life after which he started doing his Upasana.
In a podcast, Rajarshi revealed that he did not come from a traditional background. He said that his induction into spirituality was more like a “lateral entry.” He said that natural forces led to him the path of spirituality.
In 2022, Rajarshi founded the Kamakhya Bhairava Upasaka Foundation (KBUF).
He runs a YouTube channel titled Adhyatmikta by Rajarshi Nandy on which he uploads videos on spirituality, Hindu mythology, and vlogs on holy places.
