Some Lesser Known Facts About Raja Vlogs
Raja Vlogs became an internet sensation after his lip-syncing video on the song Do Anjaane Ajnabi from the Bollywood film Vivah (2006) went viral on the internet. The video was shot while he was applying sindoor on his bride’s forehead during their wedding.
Raja Vlogs grew up in a financially weak family in Samastipur, Bihar.
Since childhood, he desired to become an actor.
He had no interest in studies during his school days.

His father earlier used to work in a leather factory in Uttar Pradesh. However, he once damaged his hand at the factory after which he stopped working there.
His father always wanted him to focus on his studies to secure a government. However, Raja was more interested in making videos and establishing a career in the entertainment industry.
While he was studying in school, he created an account on TikTok and started making videos. Slowly, his videos started getting popular, and he received around 8 lakh followers on the platform. In 2020, TikTok was banned in India.
Later, he created his accounts on various video-making mobile applications but did not receive a good response on any of them.
He then gave up the idea of making videos and started working with his father in a leather factory, where he was getting paid Rs. 100 a day.
A few months later, he gave up his job and again started making videos and uploading them on various platforms. The videos received a mixed response from the public.
Raja Vlogs created a self-titled YouTube channel on 19 August 2020 on which he began uploading his day-to-day videos. After some time, he interviewed a popular YouTuber in one of his videos, which received thousands of views.
Thereafter, he uploaded a video about the renowned coaching teacher Khan Sir in Patna on his channel. The video received a good response.
Soon, he began making family vlogs, which were liked by the public.

He shot to fame after his video from his wedding in which he was seen lip-syncing to the song Do Anjaane Ajnabi from the Bollywood film Vivah (2006) went viral on the internet. Raja lip-synced the song while applying Sindoor on his bride’s forehead.
Raja also uploaded a vlog from his honeymoon in Goa and titled the video Wife Honeymoon Trip. The vlog received millions of views.

In an interview, Raja Babu revealed that earlier his parents used to scold him for making videos. All they wanted was that he should concentrate on his studies. During that time, he used to lie about studying at his friend’s house to his parents and instead went out to make videos.

Before creating the YouTube channel Raja Vlogs, he had another YouTube channel, which was deactivated later due to its content.

In an interview, Raja disclosed that his wife, Radhika Kumari, gave him the idea of making family vlogs.
In one of his videos’, Raja Babu shared that he and Radhika Kumari met for the first time on a mobile application. Soon, they exchanged their numbers and became friends.
He calls his wife Devi ji in all his videos.
After his marriage to Radhika Kumari, many people alleged that their wedding was fake as the colour of the Sindoor used at the wedding was Pink. Later, Raja uploaded video on his YouTbe in response to the allegations. In the video, his mother could be heard saying,
Ye nakli nahi, asli sindoor hai. Bihar me isi se hi shadi hota hai.”
