After graduation, Raj Nidimoru emigrated to the U.S. from India to pursue a career in software engineering.
He and his co-director Krishna D.K. made a short film titled Shaadi.com in 2002.
In 2003, they made their first English-language film, Flavors. The story of the film was based on Indian immigrants in America.

In August 2024, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. released an Indian version of the Citadel web series titled ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ by the Russo Brothers on Amazon Prime Video.
