R Badree is an Indian actor who is known for starring in Prime Video’s web series The Forgotten Army – Azaadi Ke Liye (2020) and the Indian Hindi-language sports film ’83’ (2021).
In 2014, he made his acting debut with the Bengali action drama film ‘Nandigramer Chokher Pani’ (Tears of Nandigram). The film revolves around the true event of the agitation of villagers of Nandigram, in West Bengal, against the construction of a chemical factory that led to the loss of lives of lakhs of innocent villagers.
He has various theatrical credits under his belt.

R Badree came into the limelight in 2017 when he appeared in various humorous videos like I don’t NEET you (2017), Thozhar Java – AICA (2017), and Cardu mele 16 number (2020), produced by the Tamil comedy YouTube channel Temple Monkeys.
In April 2021, he got married to the Indian actress Urmila Mahanta in a traditional Tamil wedding ceremony held in Chennai. The couple made acquaintance in 2007 while studying at the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune.

In 2019, he appeared in the Indian-American crime film ‘Line of Descent’ in which he played the role of a co-officer. The storyline of the film revolves around three sons of a mafia patriarch in Delhi who fight over the future of their enterprise while an undercover police officer attempts to end the family’s legacy.
In 2020, he appeared in Prime Video’s ‘The Forgotten Army – Azaadi Ke Liye’ as Rajan. The film narrates true events about the men and women in the Indian National Army (INA), which was led by the Indian nationalist Subhash Chandra Bose .

In 2021, he portrayed the former Indian cricketer Sunil Valson (Vally), the 14th man in the Indian cricket team, in the Indian Hindi-language sports film ’83.’ The film chronicles the historic events of India’s incredible victory in the 1983 Cricket World Cup.
