Purbi is the daughter of National award-winning actress âSarita Joshiâ and famous theatre director âPravin Joshi.â
She started her career as a model and did several modelling assignments.
She started her acting career in 1995 with the TV serial âFaasle.â
In 2001, Purbi got the double role of twin sisters âNikitaâ and âNehaâ in the TV serial âDishayenâ that aired on DD National.
