As a jewellery designer, she has worked in various films like Partner, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, Marigold, Janasheen, and Khallballi: Fun Unlimited.
While growing up, she developed an interest in jewellery and gems.
Later, she started working as a jewellery designer. She designs all the jewellery on her own without taking the help of an assistant.

Punita Trikha has designed a wide range of products like Crystal Curtains, Table Decoration, Bed Covers, Saree Pallu, Shawls, Blouse Necks (customized), Hair Accessories, Chandeliers, Tiaras, Lights, Kalira (ornaments), Lamps, Candle Stands, Home Interiors, and Furniture.
She considers her son Sahil her best critic.
She has started her showroom in Delhi which was inaugurated by the Indian actor Jackie Shroff .
