Punit Tiwari is an Indian actor, storyteller, and writer who gained popularity in 2023 when he appeared in TVF’s web series Sandeep Bhaiya.
He spent his childhood in Chittaranjan, West Bengal.

In 2011, he started working as a freelance writer. He wrote content for the non-profit organization Room to Read in New Delhi.
During the same year, he began his journey as a theatre artist when he became involved with the Bahroop Arts Group, an amateur theatre group primarily composed of students from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in New Delhi.
In October 2013, he became a part of the science content team at the Pratham Education Foundation in New Delhi.
Throughout his journey as a theatre artist, he worked with various renowned theatre directors including Devendra Raj Ankur, Rita Ganguly, Raghuveer Yadav, Govind Namdeo, Shahid Anwar, Sanjay Upadhyaya, and K.S. Rajendran.
In 2014, he appeared on the channel Anjan TV in the political satire show Chatkara News. On the show, he would humorously present various politicians like Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal .

In 2015, he affiliated himself with the Kala Mandali theatre group in New Delhi.
In 2017, he played a role in the theatrical production of Sanjay Upadhyay’s Neelkanth Nirala, presented by the Madhya Pradesh School of Drama.
