Priya’s interest in computers began in 1988 when her paternal uncle bought home the family’s first computer. She eventually became interested in coding and pursued a career in the same.

In 2008, Priya was a senior instructor and programme coordinator at ‘NetTech India’, a computer and information technology training college in Thane, Maharashtra.
Priya Nath began her professional software engineering career in 2009, working for a worldwide technology company called Harbinger Systems.
While working in Harbinger Systems, she was a key member of the development team for a proprietary offline player for e-learning courses, as well as designing and building various prototypes in growing technology.
In 2011, Priya Nath began working as a Software Engineer for the Irish-American professional services firm ‘Accenture’.
While at the ‘Accenture’ company, she developed an in-house iOS framework for communication via the Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) and prototypes for clients.
In 2012, Priya Nath joined the faculty of the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) where she began teaching bachelor’s degrees in computer application to students at Nagindas Khandwala College, an IGNOU partner.
In the same year, she began teaching practical C++, Visual Basic, HTML, and Assembly Language programming, as well as other computer science subjects, at Mithibai College in Mumbai.
She was also part of the website development committee of the Mithibai College, Mumbai.
In 2013, Priya Nath started working at the product development company named  ‘SECURIFI’ in Hyderabad. In the company, she held the responsibility of developing iOS and Android applications.
In 2014, Priya Nath developed her own language-learning mobile application firm called ‘AlterGyan’ which received over three million downloads.

She was solely responsible for developing and launching 18 language learning apps for iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android platforms.
Her aim has always been to strengthen the ecosystem of Bihar.
In 2018, she was named guest teacher at Patna Women’s College, where she taught the students of Master of Computer Application. She also taught computer networks, cryptography, network security, and management information systems.
In the same year, Priya Nath and her best friend Sonam created the firm ‘PS Lifestyle’ where they publish blogs on various topics and work in areas such as content creation, social media management, and digital promotion.

Priya and Sonam have also launched their own YouTube channel and Instagram page called ‘Patna Shots’ where they share all of their travel and eating content.
In 2019, Priya worked as a content editor for the ‘Patna Diaries’ programme, which promotes everything positive about Bihar.
In the same year, Priya Nath started ‘Pi Gyan India’, an online learning platform company, where she taught students Bachelor of Computer Applications and Master of Computer Application (BCA/MCA) online.

In 2020, she was appointed Director of Community Operations at the strategy consulting services company, ‘OpenGrowth’ where she was in charge of developing a business model and overseeing OpenGrowth’s content, social media, and SEO teams.

In the same year, Priya was appointed as the company’s Social Media Manager, where she was in charge of defining brand strategy, building the website, and managing OpenGrowth’s SEO and SMM.
