Some Lesser Known Facts About Preeti Rajak
Preeti started shooting when she was 13 years old.
In 2015, her mother, Jyotsna Rajak, enrolled Preeti and her sister in the Shooting Academy in Bhopal.
Preeti trained at the Shooting Academy in Bhopal for 7 years.
In 2020, Preeti’s career faced difficulties because of the COVID-19 pandemic in her shooting career.
Since 2022, she has participated in many international tournaments including the 2022 Asian Games in China, the International Junior Shot Cup in Finland, and the Digvijay Singh Memorial shooting competition in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Later, she became part of the Army Sports Institute in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh, and became one of the youngest female shooters there.
In 2019, Preeti Rajak achieved a career-high by winning three medals in a single year at the International Junior Shot Cup in Finland in June 2019.
In December 2022, Preeti joined the Indian Army with the Corps of Military Police.
In January 2024, Preeti was promoted to the position of Subedar in the Indian Army. She became the Indian Army’s first woman Subedar. check sources Business Today

In January 2024, Preeti Rajak ranked in 6th position in the female trap shooters ranking by the International Shooting Sport Federation.
