Pratik Doshi is an Indian civil servant working as an Officer-on-Special Duty (OSD) in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). He is known as the “eyes and ears of the Prime Minister” for his close connection with Narendra Modi . In June 2023, Pratik made news after he tied the knot with Vangmayi Parakala , who is the daughter of India’s Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman .
During Narendra Modi’s tenure as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Doshi worked in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).
In 2014, he was sent to New Delhi to work at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) when Modi became the Prime Minister of India.
On 14 June 2023, Doshi got promoted and became a joint secretary in the PMO. He was then appointed as the OSD (Research & Strategy).
Doshi is thought to be one of the key people behind the Indian Government’s policy to prohibit the sale and use of plastic bags in India.
As per sources, only the close friends and family of the bride and groom attended their wedding ceremony, and famous people were not present. The seers from Udupi Adamaru Mutt also came to the wedding to give their blessings to the couple. The wedding followed the ancient rituals of Adamaru Mutt as mentioned in the Vedas.
