Pranay Meshram is an Indian producer, director, and scriptwriter who became popular after his first directorial film ‘Akelli ‘ was released in 2023.
After finishing his formal education, he decided to become a filmmaker and started working in Bollywood.
Pranay Meshram was a trainee assistant director of the film ‘Page 3’ in 2005. He was the second assistant director of several films, including ‘Lahore’ in 2010, ‘Mausam’ in 2011, ‘3G: A Killer Connection,’ and ‘Queen’ in 2013. He became the first assistant director for the final shooting schedule of ‘Commando 3’ in India in 2019 and ‘Sanak’ in 2021.

He worked as an assistant director on the web series ‘Hundred’ in 2020.
In an interview, he said that the inspiration for the script of his debut film ‘Akelli ‘ came from his meeting with a girl from Middle-East Asia who had been held captive by ISIS but later ran away from the captivity. The film featured Nushrratt Bharuccha in the lead role. check sources Outlook
