Piyush was brought up in the family of ‘Jaipur Gharana’, the school of music.
He is a professional dancer and specializes in Kathak dance.
He got training in Kathak from National Institute of Kathak Dance aka Kathak Kendra, Delhi under the guidance of a renowned Kathak dancer Rajendra Gangani.
He also learned tabla from his father Lalit Chauhan.
He is associated with the ‘Aditi Mangaldas Dance Company’ as a senior dancer.
He has worked with many popular choreographers such as Pandit Birju Maharaj, Smt. Geetanjali Lal, Shri Mati Kumudni Lakhya, Pt. Shri Jai Kishen Maharaj, etc.
